Job Vacancy - Course Director MFA Theatre Producing (Part-Time)
The Lir Academy at Trinity College Dublin is seeking to appoint a part-time Course Director MFA Theatre Producing. Deadline extended to February 26th.
The Course Director MFA Theatre Producing will join our team of MFA Course Directors, who are all professionals who work in their chosen disciplines alongside their roles at The Lir Academy, to deliver our new MFA in Theatre Producing.
The Course Director will work an average of 20 hours a week to deliver the programme, this will fluctuate according to the academic timetable and will facilitate a practitioner to also work on their own projects.
The Course Director will work to equip students with the skills necessary to pursue a career in professional theatre and related industries through the development of skills, professional practices and creative approaches to theatre producing. This course is designed to encourage a self-reflexive approach to learning with a view to developing independent-thinking and collaboratively-focused producers. The MFA Theatre Producing will be integrated into the current MFA strands of Directing, Playwriting and Stage
The primary role of the Course Director MFA Theatre Producing is to lead on the delivery of all aspects of the MFA in Theatre Producing course under the supervision and guidance of the Director of Actor Training & Postgraduate Study, the Academic Director, and the Director & CEO of The Lir Academy.

Interviews will be held in Dublin (or online if required) the week beginning Monday, March 11th 2024. Starting date is 26th August 2024. Advance work will need to be carried out prior to this date, preferably from April 2024. This will be agreed with the successful candidate and remunerated on a pro-rata basis.
