Lighting Design for Dance 2019

With the support of Dance Ireland and Liz Roche Company, MFA Stage Design students Blue Hanley, Colin Doran and Matt Burke have been working with top coreographers under the mentorship of Liz Roche and Sinéad Wallace.

Over the last few months, the lighting designers have been collaborating with choreographers to develop a piece through experimentation with light, space and movement, understanding the relationship between light and movement.

This is the culmination of that work.

Doors open at 6.45pm. Showing begins at 7pm sharp and runs for just under 1 hour.
