Written in 1944 by Bertolt Brecht and set in the Soviet Union around the end of the Second World War, The Caucasian Chalk Circle’s core themes are as relevant today as they were then. Refugees fleeing from war torn countries hoping for asylum in promising new lands, corrupt leaders assigning their own form of justice and the underlying most human belief that love conquers all.

This amateur production of The Caucasian Chalk Circle is presented by special arrangement with Samuel French Ltd.
