Open Day 2015
Open Day will take place on Saturday 5th December 2015.
SATURDAY 5TH DECEMBER 2015
As per previous years The Lir will have a stand at Trinity College Dublin open day in the morning of 5th December at the Samuel Beckett Theatre where staff will be on hand to answer any queries from students and parents.
From there everyone is invited to attend the following presentations at The Lir Academy on Pearse Street. A representative from The Lir will take students from the Samuel Beckett Theatre to The Lir fifteen minutes prior to the presentations.
1.30pm Professional Diploma in Stage Management and Technical Theatre
This will include an opportunity to tour the various facilities of The Lir including the wood and metal workshop, scenic art workshop, the costume and wardrobe room, design studio, theatres and various rehearsal spaces and time to speak with current students who are in both first and second year on this course.
3.00pm Bachelor in Acting Degree and Foundation Diploma in Acting and Theatre
This will include a tour of the facilities including the dance studio, rehearsal spaces, theatres, design studio etc.Students will also have the opportunity to talk with current students in first and second year of their studies.
