The Lir Academy Open Day 2022

Join us for our undergraduate open day on Saturday 5 November. Find out more about our courses and how to apply, tour the facilities and chat with current students about studying at The Lir Academy.
There will be two presentations on the day:
1.30pm - Bachelor in Stage Management and Technical Theatre
As well as a detailed presentation on all that this three-year practical course has to offer, there will also be an opportunity to tour our facilities. You’ll get to visit our wood and metal workshop, scenic art workshop, costume and wardrobe room, design studio, theatres and our various rehearsal spaces. Tours will be led by students who are currently studying Stage Management and Technical Theatre so you’ll have an opportunity to ask them questions about studying at The Lir Academy and what you can expect from the course.
3.00pm - Bachelor in Acting and Foundation Diploma in Acting and Theatre
As well as a presentation covering all aspects of these courses, there will be an opportunity to tour the facilities. You will get to see our rehearsal spaces, dance/movement studio, theatres, design studio, costume room, green room, dressing rooms and more. Tours will be led by students studying acting so you’ll have an opportunity to talk with them about the course and studying at The Lir Academy.
Our admission team will also be available to answer any questions you may have about making an application.
