We are welcoming Gavin O'Donoghue into his new position as the Director of Actor Training & Postgraduate Study!
Gavin has been a teacher at The Lir since its establishment in 2011 - initially teaching Voice & Dialect on The BA Acting program, he later became the first course director of the Foundation Diploma in Acting & Theatre in 2014 as well as heading up all Short Courses at The Lir.
Gavin studied at The Samuel Beckett Centre: Trinity College Dublin, The Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art and the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. He is excited to take up this new role and looks forward to continuing to work with The Lir’s exceptionally talented and passionate students.
