Our annual fundraiser is back on May 29th.
Join us at The Lir Academy and have a great night out with cocktails, a show, cabaret and dinner with a difference on May 29th.
All proceeds from this event go towards supporting Stage Management and Technical Theatre bursaries. This is the second year that we are holding this fundraising event following the wonderful sold out success from last year. Tickets are limited – only 125 available – and we anticipate this event selling fast.

Show 1 - Arcadia by Tom Stoppard, directed by Hilary Wood, starts at 6.45, finishes at 9.15pm.
The multi-award winning Arcadia, (Best New Play - Olivier awards, Best Play - Tony Awards) premiered in 1993. Through a mix of comedy and scientific discussion, moving through the past and the present, order and chaos, Stoppard created a work that some critics claimed to be his best yet at the time. It illuminates dense mathematical subjects through the portrayal of the characters' lives - a young woman and her tutor, and a historian following the trail of a hermit.

Show 2 - My Sister In This House by Wendy Kesselman, directed by Joy Nesbitt, starts at 7.30pm, finishes at 9pm.
This award-winning psychodrama explores the true story of a murder committed by two sisters who were both maids in the same house in France in the 1930s. The play explores the tensions at work that brought about their motivations to commit such an act. This story also inspired Genet's The Maids.
