Undergraduate application process now open
Apply now for undergraduate courses in 2016
The application process has now officially opened for entry onto the 2016 undergraduate courses at The Lir ie the Foundation Diploma in Acting and Theatre, the Professional Diploma in Stage Management and Technical Theatre and the Bachelor in Acting degree.
To apply for the Bachelor in Acting degree or the Foundation Diploma in Acting and Theatre you will need to do the following:
* Download the application form from the relevant undergraduate course section of this website. Click here for the three categories.
* Complete the application form and post it along with a photograph of yourself to Admissions, The Lir National Academy of Dramatic Art, Trinity Technology and Enterprise Campus, Pearse Street at Grand Canal Quay, Dublin 2, Ireland
* Pay the administration fee online (found in the Application Process and Form section of each page) and book your audition date. Audition dates will be made available once you click through to pay the registration fee.
You can submit your application form and book your audition date and time at a later date but please note, your application will not be processed until all three elements have been completed.
If you are an international student we would ask you to contact info@thelir.ie before you register and book your audition date. We ask this so that we can work with you and your travel plans to book your audition.

IF YOU ARE APPLYING FOR BOTH THE FOUNDATION COURSE AND THE DEGREE IN ACTING, YOU ONLY NEED ONE APPLICATION FORM AND YOU ONLY NEED TO PAY THE ADMINISTRATION FEE ONCE.
To apply for the Professional Diploma in Stage Management and Technical Theatre you will need to do the following:
* Download and complete the application form which can be found here
* Post the application form along with a photograph of yourself to Admissions, The Lir National Academy of Dramatic Art, Trinity Technology and Enterprise Campus, Pearse Street at Grand Canal Quay, Dublin 2, Ireland
* Register and pay the administration fee.
* You will be contacted by our Admissions team to arrange a suitable date/time for interview
