He has been assistant or associate director to many of Ireland’s leading theatre companies including the Gate (Piaf), ANU (Faultline), and The Abbey/THISISPOPBABY (If These Wigs Could Talk by Panti Bliss/Haunted by Tara Flynn). Chris’s writing has been supported by the Arts Council, Wicklow Arts Office, and international residencies.

Chris also creates theatre-in-education plays for schools in Europe and Ireland, most recently The Song Collector, an introduction to folk song collecting for audiences 6+, which appeared at Galway Theatre Festival.
