Lir Grads Reunite for first American Production of CN Smith's Play 'Spear'

At Corrib Theatre in Portland, the only Irish theatre on America's West Coast, three of our past graduates are in rehearsal for the opening of Spear.
Holly Griffith (MFA Theatre Directing graduate, 2021), is the Artistic Director of Corrib Theatre and is joined by Joy Nesbitt, (MFA Theatre Directing graduate, 2022), who is directing CN Smith's Spear.
CN Smith is a graduate of the MFA Playwriting (2021) at The Lir Academy and this will be the American debut of Spear.
Speaking about the involvement of these Lir graduates, Holly said: "We're very excited, and it's like a little Lir reunion out here."
