The Lir offers courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate level in acting, directing, lighting design, stage design, stage management, technical theatre and writing for the theatre and related professions.
It also offers a range of short and outreach courses for youth, community and educational groups.

The Lir's Bachelor in Acting (Hons) and Master in Fine Art (Playwriting) commenced in 2011. Applications are now open for the 2012 intake of the Bachelor in Acting (Hons) and for the Professional Diploma in Technical Theatre and Stage Management, also starting in September 2012. Applications for the 2012 Master in Fine Art (Playwriting) will open soon.
Further postgraduate courses, in Directing and Design (Set and Costume and Lighting Design) will also be launched in November 2012. Please check our website regularly for further updates.
